Sometimes, these flatten out as the paste dries. And a busy pattern helps disguise creases in the paper. The angle from which light hits the wallpaper makes a difference, too.

In this case, I called the homeowners in to make the decision whether to hang this material or not. They decided to go ahead. To be honest, once it was up on the wall and dried out a bit, the creases were not very noticeable.
