

Re my previous post, I positioned this wallpaper pattern so there would be a dark horizontal line just under the ceiling.
I thought it would look good to also have the dark horizontal line following the baseboard. But the length of the pattern repeat did not sync with the height of the wall, and the dark line got cut off.
So I took some scrap paper and made my own horizontal lines. I cut straight across the bottom, and then used a scissors to cut a scalloped wave along the design at the top of the strip.
Then I simply pasted the strips and appliquéd them along the baseboard. Voilà! A nicely balanced look, top to bottom!
