“Paint Chip” Quilt

I took a little time off wallpaper work and spent the day at the huge International Quilt Festival here in Houston. One of the quilts was this – cleverly replicating paint chip color cards .
I’ve already deleted the close-up pic, but maybe you can enlarge the photo to see the stitches and craftsmanship .
That shiny horizontal line is the clear plastic tape they put up to keep people from getting too close to the quilts .
