Wallpaper as Art

But sometimes a little more drama is called for – I love this new book by Seabrook, the “Atmosphere, Carl Robinson 4” collection.

Old rusty gears, bicycle spokes, bold swaths of color, peeling paint, typewriter keys, a worn fender from a ’40’s Chevy, even a phone booth from jolly old England. The images engulf the wall, and the manufacturer provides coordinating sidewall paper to fill in the space.

One of my customers is using the yellow/red/blue tumbling bubbles pattern, and I can’t wait to get my hands on that paper!
